Every figure comes from the retailer

Prices on this site are taken from the retailer’s own published listings and service pages, not from forums, estimates, or other price sites. Each page links to the source it was built from and shows the date that source was checked.

Our parts price pages are counted from the retailer’s catalog for a fixed list of vehicles. The number of items, the low and high figures, and the median on each page are calculated from those listings, so the totals on a page always match the data behind it.

How a price is labeled

An advertised starting price is labeled as a starting price, because the amount you pay depends on your vehicle, the parts chosen, and the store. An exact catalog price is shown with the part and fitment it belongs to. A service offered at no charge is described with the conditions the retailer attaches to it.

Core deposits, installation, disposal fees, and taxes are kept separate from the product price whenever the retailer publishes them separately. When a price is unavailable, we say so rather than filling the gap with a guess or a range.

Local prices still vary

A national listing does not set the price at every store. Retailers can charge differently by location, run local promotions, or limit a service to participating stores. Confirm the current total with your selected store before you buy or book.

Rechecks and corrections

Pages are rechecked against their sources, and the check date changes when they are. A price that no longer matches its source is updated, marked for review, or removed. Substantive changes are noted on the page.

If you find a price that does not match, use the contact page. Include the page address, the figure, and the source or a dated receipt with the store location and vehicle. Our editorial policy and corrections policy describe the rest of the process.
